Here is a fun addition activity for your kids this winter. They will be eager to answer all the problems for them to uncover the pictures hidden in the coloring worksheets.

How to Use

To solve the mystery picture, your students must first answer all addition problems in a set. After that, they have to choose the letter of their answers from a list and color the grid to reveal the images.

These are print-and-go packets. Just select and print the winter addition coloring worksheets that are right for your class, and you're all set.

*** These are for Grades 2-4. For K-2, click here.

What You'll Get

You will receive all printable worksheets. There are three versions of this packet, each with a different set of addition problems.

  • 2-digit and 1-digit addition
  • 2-digit and 2-digit addition
  • 3-digit and 3-digit addition

Print the version that you want your kids to answer. They will be asked to find the sum of two numbers, find the missing addend to complete the equation, or fill in the blanks to complete the equation by supplying the missing addend or sum.

All versions include the seven images below. If your kids answer all the addition problems in a set, they could uncover these winter pictures:

  1. Penguin
  2. Girl with Winter Clothes
  3. Gloves
  4. Igloo
  5. Sled
  6. Snowman and a Boy
